I like the cast of Manila, hopefully they'll release a trailer soon so that I'll know what the story is about :)
Oo nga, i know Old boy is part of the trilogy, but havent gotten a chance to watch the other two! Sigh. I've been super lagging behind naaa! :)
Ang cute nung french film talga, pati yung premise. basta, share ko lang..when making stories, i find it hard kung ano ang pinakaeffective na treatment na gawin. Kasi like this, kung straight drama to, parang nagpapakaserious effect, pero kung musical, parang ang whimsical lang and baka mas maput yung message across. OH MY im overanalyzing again without even seeing the film hahahahaha! :)
Theo, and that's where the brilliance of the writer/director comes in. Movies like "Were the World Mine" and "But I'm a Cheerleader" get their serious messages across through stylized comedy or music, making it less didactic and more palatable.
Content comes first of course, but how one gets the message across, that's where the sparks fly. :D
hello: thor bee!
